The notion of lines drives these artworks as a visual representation of traces of gesture and maps for tracking connections and histories. In these works, the line transforms into a drawing of relationships in a state of conditional meanings. Remanent objects from social interactions were encapsulated in a thick layer of paint, while cords and ropes were physical vectors that wove their intimate relationships into a narrative constellation.
Fictitious objects emerged as markers for trauma as the remnant objects mutate away from their original forms carrying weight, pressure, and gravity- all spatial feelings felt within intimacy. These works explored how we navigate and define ourselves within the influences of objects and how objects can act as stabilizers within relationships.
